Panagra Constellation

Probably not too many people know that Panagra had plans in the 1940’s to operate a fleet of Lockheed Constellations. In preparation, the company purchased and apparently distributed Constellation flight manuals to crew members, but never operated the aircraft in revenue service. Here is a photo provided by Larry Johnson showing a Constellation in a fairly plain Panagra livery. The photo may be a Lockheed publicity photo and the aircraft may have ended up at Pan Am.
